  1. 20th Amendment
  2. Passed on: December 22, 1966
  3. It indemnified and validated judgments, decrees, orders and sentences passed by judges. It validated the appointment, posting, promotion and transfer of judges except those not eligible for appointment under article 233.
  4. 24th Amendment
  5. Passed on: November 5, 1971
  6. It enabled the Parliament to dilute fundamental rights through amendments to the constitution.
  7. 61th Amendment
  8. Passed on: March 28, 1988
  9. It reduced the age for voting rights from 21 to 18.
  10. 75th Amendment
  11. Passed on: May 15, 1994
  12. It set provisions for setting up Rent Control Tribunals.
  13. 86th Amendment
  14. Passed on: December 12, 2002
  15. It provides Right to Education until the age of fourteen and early childhood care until the age of six.
  16. 88th Amendment
  17. Passed on: January 15, 2004
  18. It was passed to extend statutory cover for levy and utilization of Service Tax.
  19. 94th Amendment
  20. Passed on: June 12, 2006
  21. It was passed to provide for a Minister of Tribal Welfare in the newly created states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
