    Culture is a way of life and Multiculturalism is contemporary philosophy which maintains that there is many ways of living and every way of living is distinct and permitted to exist. It is believed that culture plays vital role in human life.
    We are culturally embedded creatures. Our understanding to outer world is moulded by our cultural belief and background.

    Descriptive perspective:
    As per this, multiculturalism accepts the plurality of culture as a established fact. It is also accepted that there are many ways of living in this world with different lifestyle and value system. Therefore, plurality of culture is a fact.

    Normative perspective:
    As a normative term, multiculturalism maintains that plurality of culture is beneficial for society and it should be promoted. It is also stated that there is close relation between human nature and culture. Therefore by recognising different identity, we are able to understand different belief system and their associated problems. Many cultures will interact with each other and benefit the society.
