Q1. “An atheist may be a better man than a religious person bereft of moral values.”Discuss. (2015/15)

Kierkegaard was an atheist in the sense that he didn’t accepted conventional definition of God. For him anything is Truth, if it becomes alive in him.

Now considering an atheist person who he has realized truth. This truth may invoke in him good moral values which will lead him to live a life of a morality.

While religious person with his all rituals may practise his religion, but without moral values. he will live a life of immorality.

Religion do promote morality and this aim is actualized only when that morality becomes alive in the person, the aim of religion is fulfilled.
Atheist without god or religion with god does not make a difference, because morale values are universal and can ab applied by every human in his daily life.
