Leibnitz was the German rationalist philosopher and he has tried to explain this universe on the basis of substance that is Monads. Monads are defined as the conscious particles which are immaterial in nature. They are independent active force. As per Liebnitz, Monads are the windowless and independent to each other. Therefore, relation between the monads is explained on the basis of Pre-Established Harmony. As per this, at the time of the creation of the monads god has inserted harmony in different monads in such a way that changes occur in all monads simultaneously.
According to Liebnitz, human beings are the combination of mind and body and both are the accepted as the monads. All human beings are made of monads and guided by the pre establish harmony that is externally determined. In this sense, glory and freedom of the human beings cannot be explained. Since all monads have the power of appetition and freedon to actualise their internal aim. Therefore in this sense, freedom of the human beings is accepted.
